Our Story
My name is René Michelle Floyd, CEO Owner and creator of Beautiful Hair Products.
I am a Beautiful Hair Products® Naturalista no doubt!
Beautiful Hair Products® was created on a hope and a dream...
I was at a crossroad in my life and needed to "do" something that could be enjoyable, sustainable, legal, moral, and ethical; and that could help me provide for me and my family.
Committing to being disciplined and focused enough to becoming my own boss through entrepreneurship wasn't hard at all for me...I was born for this.
Having a vision of how I could serve others in my community while my family's needs were being met was a "God Vision" --Only God could give me such a revelation.
Being successful at it is an understatement.
Not only was I able to provide for my family as a single mother of 5 along with my blessed mother; I was also able to get them through school successfully while making an impact and helping to change many people's lives by my love and passion for people of Color who were blessed with natural coily textured hair.
I was first able to do this through my skills as a natural hair stylist and then became a Certified Sisterlocks™ consultant of 15+ years. Being a Sisterlocks™ consultant was one of the best and most rewarding career decisions I ever made.
I made many friends and created lifetime relationships as a result.
My career path made it possible for me to be a "work-at-home-mom." I didn't have to deal with traffic jams and office shenanigans.
I was present for my family...and not only that, I was able to train and teach my girls the skills of being a natural hair professional.
All 3 of my daughters Kene', Sikudhani and, Asabi, are awesome stylist and Natural Hair care specialist.
After my retirement from being a certified Sisterlocks™ consultant, I was able to give my full attention to perfecting my hair care line - Beautiful Hair Products®
My purpose as a natural hair business professional is to encourage people of Color to embrace the beauty of their natural hair and learn to take of it with joy.

All oils, shampoos, conditioners and, hair sprays are hand-mixed and hand-poured. Much love and care goes into producing these products and applying the labels that goes on each and every bottle and jar.

The Rose Petals Shampoo has been a game-changer for my hair care routine. It has transformed my dry Sisterlocks into beautifully hydrated hair! I followed René’s shampoo tutorial and incorporated a “water wash,” where I rinse my hair with water for 5-10 minutes before applying shampoo. After this step, I used a palm-sized amount of the Rose Petals Shampoo, and it lathered up perfectly, cleansing my long Sisterlocks thoroughly.
Usually, I need about 11 oz of shampoo, washing my hair three times to get it clean. However, with this shampoo, the combination of the water wash and a small amount of product left my hair squeaky clean! The Rose Petals Shampoo was delivered promptly, and the quality is worth every penny. This is truly a high-end product, and I’m happy to invest in it. Amazing job, René!
The Rose Petals Hair Oil is a great solution for my hair care needs. The Hair Oil, in conjunction with the Conditioning Crème and Hair Spray, has assisted in hydrating my dry Sisterlocks. I used the Hair Oil and the Conditioning cream to braid my Sisterlocks and when I took my braids down, my hair was so soft and shiny that I was amazed. I can’t wait to try this hair oil with the cream to curl my Sisterlocks. My Rose Petal Hair Oil arrived expeditiously.
The peppermint collection was my first product. It smells great but my hair was extremely dry and itching. Now that I have used the Lavender collection,then went back the peppermint collection, I am enjoying it as well
