I've used rose water in the past. I've used multiple brands, organic, cheap, and everything in between. Aside from a nice smell it did nothing. Everyday I shake out my hair because I work outside and I'm paranoid, but with that shake a lot of hair comes out, every time. It never stops raining dead, dry hair. This morning 4 days after starting to use the spray about twice a day I shook out my hair and almost no hair rained down from my head. I shook again and harder to be sure but the results were the same. I can't believe this spray was the difference. Definitely worth the purchase and glad I bought 3 bottles to test it out.
